Altamira Consulting Ltd.is seeking applicants for a full time, Permit Holder position for projects in Alberta. We offer comprehensive health and dental benefits, research support, paid conferences (when presenting), and occupational health and safety training. Salary will be based on education and experience, with a guaranteed annual bonus. Responsibilities will include project research, design and management, the preparation of proposals, and employee training, mentoring and supervision. You will be required to direct and manage all stages of HRIA and HRIM fieldwork and must be willing to undertake out-of-town survey work. You will work with minimal supervision in a team environment, be expected to have associated research interests and assume additional responsibilities with appropriate corresponding compensation.

Applicants must have held ASA Permits and be in good standing with the Archaeological Survey of Alberta. You will be expected to have an excellent working knowledge of computer applications, including MS Word and Excel; have first-rate written and verbal communication skills; be able to work under strict deadline conditions; be in excellent physical health; hold a valid Driver’s License and be comfortable driving 4x4s; and, be familiar with ATV usage.
